How long have you been in business?

David Rogers Homes, Inc. was founded by David Rogers, Sr. in 1987. Since its inception, David Rogers Homes has built more than 600 homes in and around the Lubbock area.

What kind of actual homebuilding experience do you have?

David Rogers, Sr. has owned his own home building business for 30 years. He has been involved in different areas of the construction industry for a total of 40 years. Prior to founding David Rogers Homes, he worked as a construction manager for a local builder. Brandon Rogers, V.P. and Construction Manager, has over 20 years of construction experience. Landon Hale, Project Coordinator, has over 14 years experience in all areas of new home construction.

Who supervises your construction? Do you have superintendents?

David Rogers Homes has great sub-contractors, but we understand the importance of quality control. Brandon oversees all of our jobs and performs quality control inspections at each stage of construction to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. We also employ a construction specialist that handles all final detail and punch list work, and performs warranty work after closing.

How long have your sub-contractors worked for you?

David Rogers Homes’ subcontractors have worked with us for an average of 15 years, some since the founding of the company.

Are you a locally owned company or based out of town?

David Rogers Homes was founded in Lubbock, and its headquarters will always remain in Lubbock.

Can I customize my home, or am I limited in what I can change or add?

David Rogers Homes is a custom homebuilder. You are able to choose from one of our many custom home designs and re-design it to fit your individual needs and lifestyle. We are also able to build custom designs that are brought to us or help you to design a totally unique custom plan. Your new home should reflect your personality, not someone else’s.

How long does it take to build a home?

From the time of contract, it takes approximately 5-6 months to build your new home.

Can I contact past customers at random?

David Rogers Homes encourages potential customers to randomly pick any of our customers to contact.

Do you have a permanent location, such as a model home?

David Rogers Homes has a model home at 3919 125th Street in Brooke Heights. We also employ a Project Coordinator to take you from contract to closing and beyond. Our Project Coordinator Landon is always available to help our current, past, and prospective customers with whatever they need.

Is your company financially stable?

David Rogers Homes has a great relationship with banks, mortgage companies, and suppliers. We are consistently one of the top 5 builders in the Lubbock area.

Do you have a clear, written warranty program?

Every David Rogers home is guaranteed by our Home Warranty Service Program. Each new home includes 1-year workmanship and materials warranty, 2-year systems warranty, and 10-year structural warranty.
